Mixed emotions.
I am excited to go home to Colorado next week and see my family.
But my heart aches about leaving Mike in the east to finish out his summer job.
(By the way, it was his idea for me to go spend the last weeks of the summer in CO, not mine.)
I am cannot wait to find out if this baby is a boy or girl. Any guesses?
But we have to wait until the last week of August.
I am sooooo happy this is my last week of my summer job as the office administrator for Vision Security. What a headache it has caused me.
However, once I get back to Denver it's time to look for substitute teaching jobs for the fall. I will have to wear an over sized shirt to cover my baby bump at job interviews. ;-)
We are looking forward to settling down in Denver and raising our family.
But finding the right place to live has been stressing us out.
Overall, we have a lot of good things to look forward to, but also many unknowns. This is one of those moments in our marriage where we truly have to "go forward in faith." A good friend once told me, "You have to take a step into the darkness before the Lord shows you the light"
Guess this is what having faith is all about.

Leslie when do you get to CO? I'm going this week...I wonder if we'll cross paths?? It would be fun to get together! Good luck settling down in CO. I'm jealous!
I think it will be a baby girl.. and I know what you mean about leaving Mike for so long! I'm just hoping Tyson's future job isn't traveling! Sorry I havent called you things have gotten REALLY hectic since she arrived... but i will call you soon i promise!

Hey girl, I am way excited for you! Don't worry about all of the mixed emotions, it happens with pregnancy! But, I have learned that it all works itself out! Can't wait to hear what you are having!!!!

Good luck with the job interviews... I interviewed for jobs at around 5 months and I was always scared weren't going to hire me because I was pregnant so I sported a baggy shirt and a big purse I would hold in front of me. haha Can't wait to see if it's a boy or girl!
