"Have you been craving anything throughout your pregnancy?" A question that most pregnant girls are used to answering. In the beginning it was bean burritos from Taco Bell. Then one time a raw onion snuck its way into my burrito and that was it. I can't stand the thought of eating one! I didn't notice I was craving anything else until I realized that everyday I eat one of these items.

;">Honeycrisp Apples. Have you had one of these? They are the best apple I have ever tasted. The perfect combination of sweet/tart/crunchiness. They are only available during the fall so I have made sure to get my fill before they are gone. It will be a sad day when I can no longer find them in the produce section.
I usually put applesauce in my morning oatmeal or just grab some spoonfuls out of the jar when I need a sweet treat.
Since it has FINALLY cooled down in Denver I have enjoyed sipping on cider in the evening to warm me up. I usually am really sad when summer is over, but since being pregnant is like having a built in heater I am loving the cool weather. Love fall!
One last thing...
I am officially into the third tri of my pregnancy! Lots to get done and to prepare for. I am trying to talk Mike into taking a birthing class with me but he doesn't want to. Have any of you taken a birthing class and did you find it beneficial? Let me know because I need to make a decision soon.

Mmmm, I LOVE honeycrisp apples. Good find. I always loved a good bowl of cereal when i was pregnant, but a cold apple was always on my must-have list. We signed up for some classes at the hospital before having Greta. It was a 4 week class. REALLY informative. It wasn't all about giving birth, but that was part of it. We also learned about nursing and contractions and what to expect. I was glad we did it, although, we both found it hard to keep our composure when we had to "close our eyes and see the darkness of the womb."
I'm so jealous you had cravings! I was so excited to see what I would crave, but nothing. Well I guess I craved bagelman bagles from CT.. but that's not really anything new. I had one when I went home in September and then all bagels tasted gross after having that heaven sent treat. But I'm not sure I'd consider that a craving.
I'm signing up for a birthing class as soon as I can. As much as I want to learn about breathing and relaxing, I'm more interested in learning about the process.. I have no idea what to expect when it comes to labor! Tell Mike that Miles is being dragged and they can complain together. Miles hasn't complained about going yet, but then again we haven't signed up.
Congrats on making to your third trimester!! I vote that it's time to see another picture of you cute bump!! I love the applesauce idea, Jon hates it but I love it and what a healthy treat to have when you want something sweet! :)
Theron and I did not take a class before Logan was born and there were some things I wish I had known. We made up for it and took one before Lydia was born and we were both glad we did. You can have Mike call Theron if he needs more encouragement:) Good luck with the third trimester!
i would recommend taking birthing classes for sure. i too was a little skeptical about signing up, but we went through the hospital classes and it was awesome. i learned what to expect when the big day arrived and i felt reassured about giving birth.
yay for 3rd tri!!! Golden and I didn't take a birthing class when i was pregnant with Jensen. My opinion about that is if you have a certain birth plan (natural delivery, no drugs, at home birth, water birth...etc) things like that, then its smart to take a class because they can teach you the specifics about preparing for your delivery, like natural breathing techniques, or how to deal with the pain mentally, but we didn't care either way, and we didn't go to a class and I did great. I think watching a baby story helped me enough. haha. sometimes i wish we would have gone JUST for the experience and laughs of going to a birthing class but it wasn't necessary for us. if you want to go, then GO! why not? p.s.-i love honeycrisp apples too, Jensen and I share one everyday :)
I recommend taking a birthing class!!I definitely don't think that birthing classes are just for natural births or home births etc. There are so many things about my body, labor and delivery, medications, postpardum, breastfeeding etc that I didn't know about until I learned about them in my birthing class. It helps let you know what to expect from pregnancy and especially labor and delivery, wether or not you do it medicated or naturally. It also helps you be more conversant with the Doctors and to know the right questions to ask. I did The Bradley Method. It was 12 weeks long and I learned a lot! There are other great ones that aren't as long. It is sooo worth it to be educated on this! Congrats again! She's going to be a little heartbreaker!
Greg and I are doing a class and I think its a great idea just to be more informed about the whole process, tell Mike he owes you sitting through one class
wow third trimester already! How exciting!
